40 Years of Dynamic Ministry

As our 40th year of ministry concludes, we are grateful for who God is and what he’s enabled us to do. The heart and mission of JC Studies remain steadfast from the beginning. We exist to help believers connect the Testaments resulting in a deeper relationship with Jesus and an expanded sense of Kingdom calling. Read on for a couple of significant ways we envision moving into the next decade together.

2025 Initiative

The Psalms Project

Imagine a book of devotions consisting of Dwight Pryor’s most beloved series, The Psalms of Ascent. This popular teaching is print-ready after being highlighted in our weekly Sabbath Study email last year (scroll to the end to sign up!). We are excited to initiate The Psalm Project as an extension of Dwight’s ongoing legacy.

2024 good works

Our cornerstone of ministry is the popular Saturday devotional studies, with 52 more published by the end of 2024. Our 40th anniversary year also featured a local Haverim Lecture Series with Dr. Ron Herms as well as his new online course through the Book of James. In addition to dynamic online educational events like walking through the biblical festivals, we began making our treasure trove of Hebraic studies available on Spotify and YouTube.

2025 Initiative

Interactive Online Classes

The coming year will offer regular opportunities to engage in discipleship with James Whitman. Featuring online classes that coincide with the calendar, gather with other students and dive deeper into Biblical themes that help you live more faithfully today. Coming January 2025: How to Sabbath.
